Grants for home insulation are available for ALL homeowners and also for those renting from private landlords, whatever your level of income.

Loft insulation and cavity wall insulation grants are funded by the various utlility companies and are NON-REPAYABLE.

Free loft and cavity wall insulation.

If you're a home owner or renting privately and on eligible benefits or tax credits, you are very likely to qualify for loft and/or cavity wall insulation installed FREE. If you are not eligible for the full grant, you could still save massively - 50-70%, dependent on your circumstances. Click the 'Insulation Grants' patch on the right to find out.

If you're a home owner or renting privately and on eligible benefits or tax credits, or allowances, you are likely to qualify for a gas central heating grant of up to £2,700. Click the 'Heating Grants' patch on the right to find out.

Solar heating grants.

A government grant of £400 is available towards the cost of installation of solar panels.

Not on a qualifying benefit?

If you do not fulfill the eligibility criteria for free insulation, then grants from around 50% rising to 70% are available for loft and cavity wall insulation, so you can still save massively.
